Chicken 65 recipe- how to make recipe of Chicken 65 step by step
This is a favorite dish of non-veg-eaters, although chicken 65 recipe is quite popular as a South Indian starter, Marinate the chicken with salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder, egg beaten, cornflour, maida and mix all the ingredients well.

Egg- 1 tbsp Cornflour- 1 tbsp Rice-flour- 1 tbsp Maida- 1 tsp Lemon juice - 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste- ¼ tsp Black-paper powder- ½ tsp Turmeric powder - 2 tsp Kashmiri red chilly powder- ½ tsp Cumin powder- ½ tsp Coriander powder - ½ tsp Garam masala powder- ½ tsp Salt- by taste For Tampering- 2-3 piece Green chili (slit) 10-12 clave Garlic (chopped) 8-10 leaves Curry leaves ½ cup Spring onion (chopped) 1/2 cup 11 tsp Lemon juice 1ts 2 tsp Red chili paste 2 ts
Chicken Marination First of all, wash the chicken thoroughly two to three times with water. Take the chicken in a mixing bowl. Now put cornflour, rice flour, and maida in it. Now add all the powdered spices, salt as per taste, ginger-garlic paste, and lemon juice. And mix them all well with the chicken. When a coat is made with all the spices and flour chicken. Then put the egg in the mixture of chicken and spices Now mix this mixture well. Mix it in such a way that a paste of spices is formed on the chicken and keep this chicken mixture covered for 20 minutes to marinate. How to make Chicken 65 Heat the oil in a vessel to fry the chicken. Mix the marinated chicken once before frying. When the oil is well heated, reduce the flame to medium. Pour marinated chicken pieces one by one in hot oil. Stir and deep fry for 5-6 minutes, stirring continuously. When the chicken turns a golden color, take it out in the kitchen towel. Keep in mind that the heat should be moderate. Otherwise, your chicken may be spoiled. Now put a spoon of oil in a separate vessel and heat it Now add chopped garlic and chopped green chilies in hot oil and fry them on a low flame for a few seconds. When garlic and chili are well fried, add red chili paste and fry for a few seconds. When this mixture starts leaving oil, then add curry leaves to it. And fry it for a few seconds. And after that add some water and mix it well. Now add chopped green onions and a teaspoon of lemon juice and salt to taste and mix well. Keep in mind that you used salt even while marinating the chicken. Now add fried chicken to this mixture. And mix it well on a low flame The chicken has to be mixed with the mixture in such a way that the mixture gets coated well on the fried chicken. Take your chicken 65 is ready, take it out in a separate serving pot. And top with chopped green onions and serve hot with red or green chutney.
Do not add eggs if you want while making chicken 65.
In this recipe, the egg is kept only as an option, adding it keeps the meat soft, but if you leave it for some time, it will start smelling.
It’s important to fry the chicken in low heat otherwise the outside will start to begin while the inside remains raw.
If you want the color you see in restaurants, you have to add red food color.
